Pumpkin Pie Protein Smoothie

Hi everyone! Long time, no recipe..! SO, if you are a pumpkin-everything-lover, you NEED to make this one. It has no refined sugar and is packed with protein and pumpkin goodness!

 

 

Pumpkin Pie Protein Smoothie

Yield: 2 smoothies or 1 monster size smoothie

 

Prep Time: 5 minutes

 

Cook Time: 0 minutes

 

Total Time: 5 minutes

 

One could describe this protein packed smoothie as drinkable pumpkin pie!

 

Ingredients: 

 

1 frozen banana (1/2 cup)

1/2 cup Greek yogurt

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

1/2 cup skim milk

2 Tablespoons pure maple syrup

2/3 cup pumpkin puree (canned or fresh)

splash of vanilla extract

1 cup ice

 

Directions:
  1. Make sure you have a strong, powerful blender.

  2. Add all of the ingredients to the blender in the order listed. Blend on high for at least 3 minutes or until smooth. Scrape down the sides of the blender if needed.

  3. Add more milk to thin out if it is too thick. Add a couple more ice cubes for a thicker texture, as desired. Add more spices to taste, as desired. ENJOY!
